FAQs - mistakes

I've spotted a mistake - who should I contact?

The data on youth homelessness provided by local authorities is unedited before it is uploaded to the Youth Homelessness Databank. This is to make sure the data is as transparent as possible. Some local authorities have provided data with inconsistencies, for example the number of young people recorded as prevention or relief cases may be lower than the total number of young people who presented to that local authority as they were homeless or at risk of homelessness. In cases like this, as this is the data given by the local authority, it is not possible to know which figure is incorrect.

If you have spotted something else that doesn't look right, please let us know. The Youth Homelessness Databank is a work in progress and we really want your feedback on what you think of it.

Drop us an email and let us know what you have seen, or anything else you think could help us to improve.
